About VidPeel

Our mission: make saving a public video you have the right to keep as simple as it should have been all along — no fake download buttons, no wall of pop-ups, no watermark stamped across your content.

VidPeel is a fast, independent tool built to do one thing well: take a link to a public video on TikTok, Instagram, X, or Facebook, and hand you back a clean file you can save, without a watermark, where that's technically possible.

It started as a project after getting frustrated with downloader sites that bury the actual download button under three fake ones and pop-ups. VidPeel is built to be the tool we'd actually want to use ourselves: fast, honest, and clean.

Who's behind it

VidPeel is run as an independent project. We believe in being transparent — you're using a small tool made by someone who cares about it working properly.

How it works

You paste a link to a public post. VidPeel reads the page's public metadata to locate the video file and streams it to you as an MP4. We don't keep a copy — files are deleted from our server immediately after download.

What VidPeel isn't

VidPeel isn't affiliated with TikTok, Instagram, Meta, X, or any other platform — it's an independent, third-party tool.

VidPeel isn't a way to acquire rights to content. Downloading a video doesn't change who owns it — that's still governed by the original creator's rights and platform terms.
