1. What we process

• Video links you submit: When you paste a URL into VidPeel, that link is processed temporarily by our backend engine to inspect public media streams. We do not store or catalog submitted URLs, and video files are streamed directly and purged immediately from server memory upon completion.
• Basic operational logs: Like most standard web servers, temporary technical logs (such as request timestamps, IP addresses, and HTTP status codes) may be collected briefly for rate-limiting, DDoS prevention, and performance diagnostics. These logs are never sold or shared, and are purged on a recurring schedule.
• Browser Local Storage: VidPeel provides an optional local download history feature stored entirely within your browser's private localStorage. This data stays on your device and is never uploaded to our servers. You can clear it at any time with one click.

2. What we do NOT do

• We do not require user accounts or logins. You never need to supply your name, email, or password to use VidPeel.
• We do not store or maintain a library of user-downloaded media.
• We do not track users across the web or sell personal data to data brokers.

3. Third-party platforms

VidPeel connects to publicly available endpoints on third-party networks (including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X/Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest) solely to fulfill your direct download requests. We do not host the original content, which remains subject to the privacy terms of each respective platform.

4. Data security

All network traffic to and from VidPeel is encrypted using industry-standard TLS/HTTPS protocols. Because temporary download streams are erased immediately, the risk of persistent data exposure is minimized by architectural design.

5. Children's privacy

VidPeel is a general audience utility and is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any material updates will be clearly reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
