How to save a TikTok video without the watermark

TikTok's own app only lets you save a video with its logo and your username stamped in the corner. That's fine for reposting to TikTok itself, but not if you want a clean copy of your own content for editing, archiving, or sharing elsewhere. Here's how to get one.

Step 1: Copy the video link

1. Open the TikTok video in the app or on tiktok.com.
2. Tap the Share icon (the arrow).
3. Tap Copy link. It'll look something like https://www.tiktok.com/@username/video/1234567890123456789.

Step 2: Paste it into VidPeel

1. Go back to the VidPeel homepage.
2. Paste the link into the box and click Get video.
3. Once the preview loads, click Download MP4.

Why is there sometimes still a small watermark?

TikTok controls which version of a video is exposed publicly, and that changes over time and by region. Most of the time a clean version is available and VidPeel serves that. When it isn't, we fall back to the best copy we can retrieve and label it honestly rather than claim a removal that didn't happen.

A note on using the video afterward

Downloading your own TikToks to edit or repurpose is generally fine. Downloading someone else's video and reposting it as your own — especially without credit, or for commercial use — can violate TikTok's terms and, depending on the content, copyright law. Use this responsibly.
