These terms govern your use of VidPeel (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What the Service does

VidPeel lets you submit a link to a publicly accessible video on a supported platform (currently TikTok, Instagram, X, and Facebook) and receive back a downloadable copy of that video. The Service is provided free of charge and supported by advertising.

2. Your responsibilities

• You will only download content you own, have created, have explicit permission to download, or that is otherwise legally available for you to save (e.g. public domain content).
• You will not use the Service to infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other legal rights.
• You will not use the Service to download content from private, restricted, or age-gated accounts or posts.
• You will not use the Service in a way that overloads, disrupts, or attempts to circumvent rate limits or security measures on our infrastructure.
• You will not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

3. No ownership transfer

Downloading a video through VidPeel does not grant you any ownership, license, or rights to that content beyond what you already had. All content remains the property of its original creator and is subject to the terms of the platform it came from.

4. No affiliation

VidPeel is an independent, third-party tool. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by TikTok, Instagram, Meta, X, Facebook, or any other platform referenced on this site. Platform names are used only to describe compatibility.

5. "As is" service, no warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific video, platform, or watermark-removal outcome will work at any given time — third-party platforms change their systems without notice, which can affect functionality outside our control.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VidPeel and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to claims related to downloaded content, copyright disputes arising from your use of downloaded material, or service interruptions.

7. Advertising

The Service displays third-party advertisements to fund its operation. We are not responsible for the content of ads served by our advertising partners, though we do want to hear about any ad that behaves deceptively — please contact us.

8. Termination

We may suspend or restrict access to the Service, in whole or in part, at any time, for any reason, including suspected abuse or violation of these terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above.
