How to download YouTube videos, Shorts & audio

VidPeel makes it easy to download high-resolution YouTube videos, save Shorts, extract MP3 audio tracks, and pull full text transcripts directly from your browser without installing third-party apps or software.

Step 1: Copy the YouTube link

1. Open the YouTube video or Short on the YouTube app or at youtube.com / youtu.be.
2. Click or tap Share and select Copy link.

Step 2: Paste into VidPeel

1. Go to the VidPeel homepage.
2. Paste the YouTube link into the input box and click Get video.
3. Select your preferred quality format (e.g. 1080p, 720p, 480p) or click Download MP3 for audio only.
4. To view the video captions, click Get transcript.
